Its been more that one month since my last movie. Seems like I am not getting much time to go for a movie :( To break my movie drought, what better movie to watch than Die Hard? I wanted to go for this movie the moment I saw its trailer on tv.
The Movie poster around Cochin City read Die Hard 4.0. Whats with 4.0?, sounded more like software version number. Hope they are not planning to come out with Die Hard 4.1 (10 points to me for noticing this minute detail :P Kudos! hehe).
I really like Bruce Willis as an action hero, he is serious, well built with rugged looks and most of all, an inspiration to all the bald men out there that u don't need to have hair on your head to be a hollywood superstar :P So When he is in an action movie, you have to see it. I guess old habits "die hard" :D
Now about the movie, its action all the way from the word GO. The stunts in the movie are awesome. There is one scene in the movie where cars are allowed in from both sides of a tunnel and a big head on collision results when cars go on crashing and flying around in the tunnel. The scene was so intense that, when Bruce Willis and the hacking kid manages to get out of the big pile up, the crowd in the movie hall clapped in awe of the scene. The movie even introduces the latest F-35 Fighter plane, which can also hover like a helicopter.
The villian in the movie acted by Timothy Olyphant dosen't look much like a bad guy, but surely your heart won't go out for him because of the havoc he creates to the society by hacking into the US Government Servers and distrupting all social services to the country. Its Bruce Willis who comes to save his country (atleast this time he is not saving the world like in Armagedon, hehe...).
My Verdict: 10 points to the movie and Kudos to the director, Len Wiseman for bringing out this awesome action thriller. A must see movie (best to watch in a movie theatre) for all action lovers.
